  • 2020 Pear Blossom Festival has been canceled — including the parade, street fair, and other events.
  • Rotary Club of Ashland has canceled the 62nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Lithia Park scheduled for Sunday, April 12.
  • Jackson County Library Services will close down 13 of its 15 branches beginning March 16. The Ashland and Medford branches only will be open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Noon to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  • All four Josephine Community Library locations will close down beginning March 16 until further notice.
  • The Oregon Historical Society will close to the public from March 14 until March 30, with all public programs canceled or postponed all public programs through April 12, while school tours will be suspended through April 17.
  • The Klamath County Fairgrounds is canceling any events likely to bring in 250 people or more.
  • The Ross Ragland Theater will either cancel or reschedule shows on a case-by-case basis.
  • Kid Time Children’s Museum will close “pending further recommendations.”
  • The Oregon Vortex & House of Mystery in Gold Hill will close down for 30 days from March 16 until April 14.
  • Jackson County Expo: Rogue Canine Agility, Roxy Ann Gem & Mineral, J&C Auctions, and the Jackson County Master Gardener’s Spring Fair are canceled. The upcoming Barnstormers event is still to be determined.
  • Chamber Music Concerts has canceled performances by the Faure Piano Quartet on April 3 and 4 at the Oregon Center for the Arts. A performance scheduled on April 24 by Brooklyn Rider and Martin Hayes is still scheduled at this time.
  • Women Entrepreneurs of Southern Oregon (WESO) has canceled its Entrepreneur Expo, originally scheduled for March 21 at Inn at the Commons in Medford.
  • The Klamath Basin Home & Outdoor Expo will not be held this weekend as planned. Organizers say they are getting in touch with vendors in order to figure out next steps.
  • The Ashland Independent Film Festivalwill not take place on April 16-20 as originally planned, the organization said. They are working on an alternative plan.
  • The Craterian says it will cancel (or postpone when possible) all events at the Collier Center over the next four weeks. The box office will be reaching out to ticket holders to offer refunds or ticket transfers.
  • The Oregon Shakespeare Festival has canceled all shows through April 8. People can start calling the Box Office March 16 to sort out ticket issues.
  • 2020 Crabfest hosted by Rotary Club of Ashland Lithia Springs. The event was supposed to be March 14. 
  • Medford Kiwanis Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Event was supposed to be the day before Easter.
  • The Josephine Shrine Circus at the Josephine County Fairgrounds, set for March 12, has been cancelled due to the Governor’s four-week ban on large gatherings.
  • Camelot Theatre: The theatre is shutting down until April 8th. All performances are canceled including this weekend (3/14-3/15) 
  • Ashland Community Peace Meal in Ashland, Oregon is canceled. It was suppose to take place Sunday, March 22nd. 

POSTPONED:


  • The Arc Jackson County has postponed its Live to Dance event, scheduled for March 14, until a later date (to be determined).
  • Ashland New Plays Festival has postponed the staged reading of Callie Kimball’s play Perseverance, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4. It will be rescheduled for the summer, with more details to come.
  • Women’s March Southern Oregon: Event was originally scheduled for March 29. A new date has not been set. Organizers say it will be sometime in the fall. 
  • ACCESS Senior Fair: Event was originally scheduled for March 17. It will now be held Tuesday, April 28. It will still be at the Medford Armory.
  • 2020 Oregon Cheese Festival: Originally scheduled for March 14 and 15, it will now take place from June 20 to 21.
  • Rogue Valley Food & Wine Classic: Orginially scheduled for April 3, it will now take place October 16.
