Senior Center/Programs
Since the Ashland Parks and Recreational Commissioners decided on August 9 to disassemble the Senior Center and its Programs as well as lay off its staff, there is a huge movement to hold officials both elected and staff accountable for their actions. The City Councilors are on record saying that they are not responsible and that the parks’ commissioners made the decision that the council apparently supports.

Grandview Access to TID
Citizens who represent many hikers/walkers of the TID who need the parking area at Grandview because it is a level access to the TID trail are waiting to hear from the City Attorney, Mr.Lohman and the Parks Director, Mike Black about a resolution that they are developing. Watch the Chronicle for any developments. Four weeks from now or even sooner, we’ll have something to report.
