Ashland Open Studio Tour & Walk Ashland Photos by Peter Finkle

Where in the world will you find this statue?
Email me if you know:
Last week’s Mystery Photo #45
This is “Fernando the Llama.” You will find “Fernando” on Prospect Street. Here is a link to my photo essay about Prospect Street.
ART! Nearly 30 Artists will have an Open Studio Tour
October 21 and 22, from 11am to 5pm.

You will have the opportunity to engage with everything from painting to printmaking, sculpture, glass blowing and more. More than fifteen art demonstrations have been scheduled on Saturday and Sunday. There will also be an ‘afterparty’ in which artists and visitors can connect in one central place.

As you know, I love to write about art and artists. You will find more than 50 photo essays about public art and neighborhood art at my website: We only have art if we support artists.

A friend told me about this lovely, newly-painted fence on Third Street.
Speaking of art, I love to share photos of “everyday beauty” with you.
So much to share!
