Update on New City Hall Bond discussion at Council Meeting

Several citizens spoke against the new city hall bond proposed by Ashland’s Mayor, Stromberg. During the discussion not only did the city administrator and a councilor or two not know why so many projects were included in the bond, the council backed away. The Council voted to delay any decision regarding the bond issue. In addition to that a public forum is suppose to be held on this topic of the bond. The Mayor’s goal is to get the bond on the ballot in May or November. Watch for notification of the forum. We will notify you of the date, time, and place.
